Me

32 years at a global supplier of seats, interiors, electronics, fabrics, and more.  I started as a prototype technician, then worked my way up to management, project management, then global systems and continuous improvement.  My teams and I won top awards!

My formal education is in manufacturing.  Along the way, I learned about LEAN and how to apply it in manufacturing and engineering environments.

Is our primary goal and has been throughout my career.  

Once, I commissioned a build of 12 specialized workbenches for our proto shop employees.  I worked with a local, custom cabinet-maker.  I was impressed with his ability to plan and assemble high-quality cabinets and dreamed about doing this someday.

My consulting business dried up and I built our kitchen with raised panels from rough-sawn Walnut.  

A mentor with 60 years experience in the cabinet business found me and shared many best practices I incorporated into my processes.   After learning and improving, I finally have great systems for quoting, designing, buying, building, and installing custom cabinets. 

Now, I want to help others by offering rapid cabinet plans.  We keep the planning process and tools in-house.  You get the great results without learning software or managing spreadsheets.
